Spring Is In The Air - Posted on 18 March 2010

At three o'clock this morning I started browsing through pages of my Codexed account. With every entry I read, I became increasingly unhappy. I didn't like how my entries were organized, I didn't like how my entries were written, and I was disappointed when I analyzed what I decided to share with the world and what I didn't share.

So I did what I do once or twice a year, every year, no matter where my Internet home is at the time. I changed the privacy setting of all of my old blog entries so now most of them are locked. I also deleted all of my old categories so that I can organize my new entries as they are written with no worries of having to catch up.

Now here we are- the beginning of Spring is just mere days away, and my obligatory seasonal cleaning of my online journal is already complete. I tend to make more resolutions during this time of year than at the beginning of the new year. Spring is filled with so much happiness- it's a time of fresh air and renewal.

Today the air is warm and breezy and it smells of joy. I am filled with hope for myself and for others. I just need to make sure to focus on what is important - my own health, which is not up to par at the moment. I need to focus on my relationship with my wonderful husband. I need to focus on my love for the arts. I need to devote more energy to the activities that truly make me happy.
