I am a twenty-something year old woman. I am a misplaced Canadian, and despite where I was born and where I reside, if you ask me where I am from I will always tell you that I am from the tropical island of Newfoundland. I am a newlywed. My husband is better than anyone at keeping me on my toes. We have two pets- a cat named Zeus (god of gods) and a dog named Hera (goddess of love). They are cared for and loved better than many children. I enjoy my job as a photo technician.

Although I am not religious, I am spiritual; I believe in what I believe but I am open to suggestions and other interpretations. I love to walk. It is then that I feel closest to my creator. I am beautiful and happy. I am full of love, laughter and light. I am a hippie at heart. I embrace who I am, along with my flaws, while constantly trying to better myself. I am a work in progress (changing before your very eyes!), I am a dreamer, I am a lover and a fighter. I am passionate.

I am stubborn and hard-headed. I have what some people think is an embarrassing sense of humor and taste in music. I am embarrassed by neither. I love the taste and sound of rain. Thunder terrifies yet excites me. I don't wake up to an alarm clock. I enjoy stretching. The sound of gravel beneath my shoes reminds me of spring. I never leave home without my iPod. The way my tummy and face hurts after laughing hard is the best feeling ever. My favorite season is autumn.

I look to the night sky for reassurance. I use commas, improperly, and I enjoy the frequent use of "unnecessary" quotation marks. Spaghetti cat. I adore Jason Mraz more than anyone should ever adore any singer/songwriter. I love roller coasters, surprises, candy and bright colors. I like looking at other people's journal art, while silently being envious of their creativity.
