That I had a long, busy weekend, but I didn’t. The new project that I was suppose to be slated too hasn’t come to pass yet. If we continue to get dumped on with snow, I wonder when it will actually start happening. For the stockpile location (this is what I’m going to be helping supervise), we have to make sure it meets requirements before material is placed on the footprint. It’s kind of a confusing deal. I get the impression that the individuals who need to do the work, keep placing it low on the pecking list. Actually, given who the client is, that doesn’t surprise me. Let’s just say, once you burn a bridge… that bridge burn’s forever.
And if you are working for that person, you have to do everything in your power to make yourself stand apart so that others realize that you’re worth doing the work for and that you’re not another lackey. Seriously.
I curled up and read away most of this weekend or worked on writing papers. It was pleasant. Joe was either sleeping or occupied with working on his junk of a truck. Before he went to work, we spent the evenings together catching up on episodes of Dexter. I like it when I don’t do much. I like becoming lost in my little world.
There are 4 weeks left in the current seminar for school before I am one seminar away from working on my capstone project. I have 4 weeks left before I visit my sister. I have 8 weeks before Joe and I get to go on our honeymoon. So much to look forward to… if it were possible to cut the days in half, I would.
