A is for Alaska. I lived there for 9 years which is the longest I’ve ever lived anywhere. It’s vastness along with the things I did up there will forever be engraved into my person.

B is for butterflies. I think they are one of the most beautiful creatures on earth.

C is for cats. I have three now. Reaper is my pretty boy. Squeak is the one who could pass for Garfield. And the newest addition is a snazzy black kitten named Zu.

D is for digital. I enjoy doing digital art. I wouldn’t say I’m like the greatest at it, but I thoroughly enjoy it. My digital art is not photo-manipulation, which is sometimes what my work is mistaken for. It’s 3D, in where I use 3D models and objects to create a scene and render it. My program of choice, currently, is Daz 3D Advance.

E is for engineer. I have a degree in Civil Engineering and I’m currently working on my Masters in Environmental Engineering.

F is for fractals. Its another form of digital art, but it uses mathematical algorithms. So, I get to combine my engineering love with making pretty pictures. My program of choice is Apophysis.

G is for green. It shouldn’t be a surprise that if I’m getting a master’s in environmental that I have some connection with the modern idea of “green.”

H is for helping. I am one of those people that will drop what I’m doing to help another out.

I is for interesting. If a subject catches my attention and holds my interest, I will zone all other things out and concentrate on this the hardest.

J is for Joe, my husband. Ex-army, he is working towards finding a way to become a teacher.

K is for Kristina… that’s my real name.

L is for lilacs and lilies. These happen to be my favorite flowers.

M is for mythology. I have a love for stories from all over the world.

N is for no. It is a word I had to learn and am grateful for it.

O is for Okinawa. I lived most of my childhood there (7 years actually). I am interested in going back to finding out how different it is now that I am an adult.

P is for pretentious, patience, and preoccupied. There are days when either I feel pretentious or I feel others are. Patience is something I need to learn, and I can often find myself preoccupied with shiny things.

Q is for quiet. I am typically a quiet individual… enough so that I get yelled at to speak up or have to repeat myself 4 times before the person I’m speaking with digests what I’ve just said. This definitely goes back to P.

R is for run. This is more of a joke to myself. The sweetheart, seriously, believes he can get me to love running and can convince me into participating in a race. The reality? I hate it with all the passion someone can muster for hating something.

S is for sister. My sister is my best friend. Even though we are like night and day, its what seems to have made our bond stronger.

T is for templates. I love to make webpage templates. It’s a fun hobby that exercises my creativity, not to mention I love code. There’s this sense of calm in creating order for me. I’ve opened a template site for those interested here.

U is for unusual. I have a secret joy in surprising someone when I do something out of the norm.

V is for video games. I love playing video games in my free time. I am found abusing the PS3, Wii, and the PC.

W is for wishes… who doesn’t have a lot of hopes and dreams?

X is for eXplore … I know, it was the best I could come up with. I love to travel, and exploring has always been a great past time of mine.

Y is for young. I’m no longer a kid… but I don’t always feel like an adult.

Z is for zeal. Because I like that word.
