The night starts to roll in, and Day 1 is almost over - THANK **** FOR THAT. I called the Police to make a noise nuisance report, but no response was received from them - except, perhaps, for a brief "blip" of siren as they rolled past.
This, officers, was NOT a bunch of kids messing about, and a half-hearted drive-by ISN'T gonna scare off this bunch - several hundred individuals, I'm guessing, at the time I called, and several hundred CARS, parked all down the field by evening, when the noise was even worse.
Now I don't CARE if they have permission, or if they operate within the rules. I seriously doubt you even bothered to try and find out the extent, and actual nature of the problem. I'll be calling again, and I want a PROPER response...

Tomorrow morning, I want a lie-in, ideally with some added creative motivation. Take this from me, and the price will be considerable.
